"Riddle of Steel" is the tragic, grand tale of a lone warrior's fate in this world and beyond. Faced with adversity in a myriad of forms, his struggles are of both philosophical and mindlessly barbaric nature, forcing him down a bloody path of death and desolation.  

 The dramatic atmosphere of this archaic saga is portrayed by genre-defying songs that take the listener on a journey through grandiose sceneries, barren wastelands and vast halls of the slain, filled with epic heavy metal, thrashing brutality, classical moods, folky acoustic interludes, soaring melodies, and much more.  

 The music is closely intertwined with the lyrical concept, moving from reckless slaughter to deep existential contemplation and ultimately leading our hero to the grievous conclusion that his greatest enemy may be himself - the Riddle of Steel can only be solved from within
